Bangladesh national web portal achieve Indian respectable Manthan Award 2009.
Access to Information (A2I) program at Prime Minister's Office (PMO) is looking after this portal.Several companies in Bangladesh achieve Manthan Award in multiple categories. The following are the name of companies followed by the categories they achieved: lemon24.com- E-culture and Entertainment, JIGYASHA 7676-E-enterprise & Livelihood, Empowering unprivileged youth in Bangladesh through computer literacy- E- Education. Dec 18-19, 2009, New Delhi based Digital Empowerment Foundation organized two days South Asia Conclave on Digital Inclusion for Development. There are 13 categories of digital innovation in the Manthan Award south Asia. These are e-education, e-learning, e-governance, community broadcasting and m-content (mobile content). Mohammad Nazrul Islam Khan, National Project Director of A2I, gave a presentation of the National Web portal and accepted The Manthan Award 2009.
